Bike Trails In addition to the trails below, there are several shorter paved trails that are the first segments of planned longer trails. These trails have a smooth, asphalt-paved surface. Northeast Gitchi-Gami State Trail, 23 mi.* Mesabi Trail, 115 mi.* Willard Munger State Trail, 63 mi. *In separate paved segments, not continuous miles. Northwest D Heartland State Trail, 49 mi.* E Migizi Trail, 17 mi.* F Paul Bunyan State Trail, 112 mi.* (Also extends into Central) *These trails intersect. Central G Central Lakes Trail, 55 mi.* H Lake Wobegon Trail, 62 mi.* I Mille Lacs Soo Line Trail, 11 mi. J Glacial Lakes State Trail, 22 mi. *These two trails connect. Minneapolis-St. Paul Area K Luce Line State Trail, 30 mi.* L Gateway State Trail, 18 mi. M Sunrise Prairie/Hardwood Creek Trail, 26 mi. N Grand Rounds, 50+mi.
